Will vinegar fix a musty washer?+
A wipe and an open door fix more machines than a jug of vinegar. Vinegar can help a gasket you have already cleaned. It will not dry a closet.
Are the clothes unsafe to wear?+
A smell is a reason to rewash and dry them fully, not a lab result. If someone is wheezing or a rash is spreading, that is a doctor, and you still dry the machine.
